I am happy to be sharing a fall 2024 workwear capsule with you today! This project came from chatting with a friend who is busy professional with great taste, but not a lot of time to plan her wardrobe. I realized many women probably feel the same way and put together a fall 2024 workwear capsule to help.
I work from home so I don’t have to get dressed up. However, these are items that I have, or have something similar to, in my own wardrobe. As long as you don’t have to be ultra dressed up for work, this capsule can help you with ideas of what to wear throughout the week. I included one pair of jeans because some people can dress a bit more casually on Fridays. If this isn’t you, just drop that piece or grab a tan pair of pants instead.
The pieces in this workwear capsule can easily be worn on the weekend as well. If I were to add additional pieces to the capsule for weekend wear, it would be: a couple pairs of jeans, sneakers, a sweatshirt or two, a crossbody bag, sweatpants/joggers, a denim jacket, and baseball cap.

First, let’s talk about swaps...
If you’re not into the embellished belts— classic belts work just as well. If you wouldn’t wear the red or studded shoes, drop them. Consider picking up a neutral heel or a boot instead. A heel would make an outfit more elevated. I only included one pair of boots in the capsule but you could add another, or swap one of the flats for flat boots. If you’re intrigued but the embellished accessories are out of your norm, try just one of them and see how you feel. Accessories are a great way to add more interest to outfits.
If a piece doesn’t align with your style, swap for something else in the same color. For example, instead of a black blazer, a black cardigan or a black leather jacket. If you’re not into jumpsuits, swap for a dress. Don’t like the white button up shirt? Try a white feminine blouse instead. If the denim shirt is too casual, swap for a blue and white stripe button up shirt. Don’t like ballet flats? Get a loafer, or vice versa. You can do whatever makes it feel true to your style.
